Yes, Ayo, it all sounds fantastic indeed.

I'll be sure to share the ebook with you as soon as it's done and will very much value your feedback. Meantime, hope you've had a good weekend and speak to you soon!

Lee thanks for such a lovely long comment. I'm glad that you find real insight from being here - that means a lot to me.

I'll be interested to hear how your move to WP goes. I think it's a great platform and I'm sure you will too. Looking forward to seeing how things develop for you!

Thanks for your encouragement, Julie. What I'm understanding you saying here is that you use your blog to build and endorse your professional platform, whether clients come directly from it or not. It's taking me some time to see that my blog is an adjunct to my business - it is not necessarily one and the same thing. But I'm getting there and that's feeling good. :)

Hi Ryan,

If you're of a mind to do a similar kind of post, I'd encourage it. I find it very motivating to put out there in public what is and isn't working. It somehow makes what I'm doing feel very real and that brings me into even closer contact with it. Let me know if you give it a go - I'd love to read it!

Hi Christine,
Every since I found your site I've enjoyed being able to reap the benefits of your insight and honest style. So many sites are focused on MMO or whatnot and though we probably all wish we could get rich quick etc.. if it meant happiness successfully. I have begun to steer away from these and focus more on positive engery sites that provide me with much more than blogging for money. Maybe I just need a break but reading the same ole stuff in that arena is getting old. Don't mistake me as I do want to continue to earn an income from the Internet I just want to make sure and keep it real and for me that's having fun along the way.
Glad your here to stay. Can't wait to see your new design though I have liked this one well enough. I'll soon be changing over to WP as it's time to take the leap. Not looking forward to the pain of the growth but will be glad and probably not look back once I do.
Keep on Keeping on...glad I popped in today.

Christine - first of all, as you know, I am using Headway now too and I love it. It makes design changes very painless but other than some tweaks here and there and content additions, I will resist the desire to change my blog/site design regularly. When you are ready, you will.

On the reason for blogging and is it driving you clients issue -- I know that though I too have been blessed with clients who refer others, I don't discount that every client needs to be sure I am a good match for them. How many times did Aunt Joanie try to convince you to buy a particular brand of shampoo and you didn't just because you knew that what worked for her might not be best for you -- or because she was pushing it at you.

I think my purpose with my blog is to let people know that I am an expert in my field and they can be confident in hiring me -- even if Aunt Joanie was pushing me down their throat... :-) In addition, I know that I have helped my existing clients to understand things that they might not have figured or been ready to learn in our sessions. I see the blog as a place to answer common questions, build an understanding of who I am, and as you said, build community...

So don't think of quitting, think instead of all the good you are doing and the payback will come in time.

I am glad to see you are moving forward in the direction you want to. I like this kind of post, it got me thinking whether I should do one every so often to state my accomplishments, things I want to change, and things I have not made it to yet. I enjoy all of your posts that I read. Keep them coming!

I enjoyed posting for you, Ben. Your questions were inspired and, as I indicated in the post, the conversation that ensued was terrific.

Glad to have you here, and happy to know that you take something meaningful from reading.
