What a wonderful comment, Linda, and thanks so much for sharing this so openly about yourself. As I’ve just been writing about in my post today, many of us struggle to find balance, and, indeed balance is not the glib concept that is so often spoken of in any case. I’m glad you’re writing about both sides of that. Makes it real somehow!

Jen and Christine,

Such a great idea, to share the journey of following one’s passion and path in life. I am on the great adventure myself. As I mentioned to Jen, I have a lot in common – particularly picking up my dad’s self-help books (most prominent in my memory is “I’m OK, You’re OK”), from which I gained the insight that there is always something new to try, to learn, to explore in the inner self. I also have had many “lives” – jobs, interests, etc. – but another thread that runs through it is writing, from which I do make my living. Now I seek to use my skills to help others and to follow my unfolding path in sharing how I lose and gain my serenity. Ultimately, my goal is to let go of fear completely and live in love and joy and peace, despite the ups and downs that are life.

I can understand how you feel … even now things are much clearer for me about where I am heading, but I still have moments of wondering which way to go within that path … I guess it’s an ongoing journey of choosing and refining our vision.
